Grooming requirements:
All new grooming pets and their parents must have a 10 minute in person consultation with our Groomer. We also request that you fill our our application for service and a waiver. The application may be filled out out at our location, download it and fax it to us or fill it out online.
Grooming Consultation
At Catnip and Biscuits we strive to provide the very best care possible for your furry family member. Grooming is a very intimate experience for you pet. We want it to be a pleasurable experience. It is important that our groomer Joy gets to know you, your pet, and what is important to the both of you. A consultation is the best way for information to be shared. Joy will ask you about your pet's health, known allergies,likes, dislikes, temperament, experiences while being groomed, and how you would like to have your pet styled. During the consultation you can share any concerns or ask questions. An individual service plan will be developed at the time of your consultation, with your approval.
Consultations will be conducted before your first groom and typically are scheduled Mon, Tues. Thurs & Fridays at a convenient time for you and the groomer.
Check in time for Grooming
Dogs who will be groomed should be dropped off between the hours of 7:15 AM and 9:00AM. As a courtesy, please make every effort to call and notify us 24 hours in advance if you cannot make your appointment. If you need to have your pet picked up and or dropped off, please let us know so that we can make arrangements to do so.
Your dog will be inspected at drop off (or upon arrival if we are providing valet service). Your previous style of grooming will be discussed. All notes from every groom will be in the computer and your groomer will discuss what you are looking for, what you had previously and if you want the same thing. We believe in open communication, if a groomer is not available at drop off you will be called to get specific instructions.
Pick up time for groomed pets:
Grooming dogs may be picked up any time other than between 11:30am and 2:00pm. If you require, Joy will call you when your grooming service is complete.
Grooming dogs who have passes their evaluation may be included in the day care group for the part of the day that is not being used for grooming. Please be aware that the day care time may be after they are groomed and they may get a little disheveled. We are not responsible for re-grooming your pet if you choose to have them in day care on the same day as they are groomed. Thank you for your understanding.
